State Championships!!!

Wow!!! What an ending to an unbelievable year. State was amazing.
Boys took 5th (1 point shy of 4th)
Girls took 8th

Notable performances:

Boys -
Zach as always came in and ran at his best. He took 6th in the 100M, 4th in the 400M, and 3rd in the 200M. He also anchored our 2nd place 4X400 relay team. Great year and a lot of hard work coming to a great end.
Greg was a huge high point coiming in 3rd in the Javelin with a season best throw of 169.
TJ performed well again with a 7th place finish in both of the 100M and 200M. He also anchored our 4th place 4X100 team and was part of our 2nd place 4X400 team
Josh Hawkes took 5th in the High Jump clearing 6'01"
Cubby and Parker both ran season bests in the 1600 and 3200. Parkers 3200 was a huge PR.
Thomas took 8th in the disc
Ben took 8th in the shot
Lil ben took 9th and 9th in both hurdles

Girls:
Rosalie ran an amazing 110H to win the state championship with a time of 15.36 and took 5th in the 400. She also anchored our school record breaking 4X400 team
Karen was also amazing in all her events. She took 1st in the disc with an amazing throw of 130' and took 5th in the shot and 7th in the Javelin.
Diondra and Kiana ran amazing times in their 800M. Both 4 sec PR's
Lexi ran great in the 300H and ran a great leg in the 4X400 (SR)
Ana and Bailey were also huge parts of the 4X400 (SR)

As I said we had some huge numbers put up. Some of the fastest and farthest we have had in a long time. It was a great weekend and a lot of fun.

Congrats to the 2010 BHS Track & Field team. Great year!
